Many changes have been made to incorporate several mods into one, although we test as much as we can, there is a chance of error. If you do encounter an error:
If you are able to view your log (last page should be enough) and inform us of the error we will send fixes AND update our downloads accordingly.
NOTE: If there is no FATAL ERROR message near the end of the log then it most likely was an out-of-memory crash. This is very common with this game as it is pre large-address-aware. The provided xrgame.dll files will give the renderer approx. 4g minus some system and your GPU shared memory. Because the XR engine is a 32bit compile, it does not protect against 64bit boundaries so new systems (especially those in 64bit) will issue an invalid memory pointer and BOOM! We have added some checks to prevent some of these CTDs but it is impossible to protect against them all. A good start is to set vision distance and lighting distance to 50% and increase them a bit at a time until you start to CTD while playing.
Another problem with this mod is the problem with light maps, some areas (Swamp for one) uses more than 8 LMAPs which violates DX8/DX9 render limitations. This causes a CTD but not immediately, the crash actually happens when it tries to reference LMAP 9 which did not load as the limit is 8. Static lighting does not use LMAPs at all, another way is to use a very short lighting distance. We are still investigating ways to improve this situation.
Translation: We incorporated the translations from DKZ for the game up to DMX 132, the rest has been machine translated and partially edited (hoping DKZ might contribute), if you would like to submit edited dialog for consideration, PLEASE DO. We are NOT doing the books as there is more than enough to work on! If you would like to submit any of the books edited for english grammar than PLEASE DO!
